Overview

Applies to: Hololife's mobile apps (including Lifesphere), web services, and related APIs (the "Services"). Hololife ("we", "us", "our") helps people build sustainable wellness habits with an adaptive, AI-assisted coach. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.

1) Who we are & how to contact us

2) What we collect

A. Account & basic profile • Name, email, password or SSO identifiers (e.g., Auth0), profile photo (optional). • App settings, notification preferences, time zone. B. App activity & content • Check-ins, goals, plans, coach messages, chat transcripts, and feedback you provide. C. Device & technical data • Device identifiers, OS/version, app version, language, crash logs, diagnostics, and limited IP-based coarse location (city/region). D. Wearable & health signals (Garmin) • With your explicit opt-in, we receive data from Garmin including (as available): sleep stages & duration, heart rate and resting HR, HRV metrics, steps/activity, stress/body battery, calories, and SpO₂. See Section 8 for Garmin-specific details. E. Other integrations (if you connect them) • If you link other sources (e.g., Apple Health, Google Fit), we only ingest the categories you authorize. Sensitive data notice: Some of the above may constitute health data. We only process it to provide and improve the coaching features you request.

3) How we use your information

• Provide and operate the Services (coach, habit plans, reminders, progress tracking). • Personalize guidance and recommendations (e.g., "go easy today" based on sleep/HRV). • Maintain safety, security, fraud prevention, and service integrity. • Measure engagement, fix bugs, and improve features. • Communicate with you about updates, tips, and transactional messages. • Comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or use wearable/health data for third-party advertising.

4) AI & chat transparency

• Your coach chats and check-ins may be processed by our AI systems and trusted sub-processors for the sole purpose of delivering coaching features (e.g., generating a reply, summarizing trends). • We may use de-identified and aggregated data to improve model quality and product performance. We do not allow vendors to use your data to train general-purpose models for others.

6) Sharing & disclosure

We share data only with: • Service providers / processors that help us run the Services (cloud hosting, analytics, crash logging, authentication, customer support) under data-processing agreements. • Integration partners you connect (e.g., Garmin) to the extent needed to enable the integration. • Legal/Compliance if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security. • Corporate transactions (e.g., merger/acquisition) with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for their independent advertising.

7) International transfers

We may process data in countries other than where you live. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

8) Garmin-specific disclosures

• Opt-in & scope: We only access Garmin data after you connect your Garmin account. We request the minimum categories needed for coaching (sleep, HR, steps/activity, calories). • Use: We transform Garmin signals into readiness/momentum insights and coach recommendations. We do not display raw medical interpretations. • Storage & security: Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored encrypted at rest. • Sharing: Garmin-sourced data is not shared with third parties except our processors to operate the Services. It is never sold or used for third-party ads. • Revocation: You can disconnect Garmin at any time from Settings or via Garmin's controls. Upon revocation, we stop ingesting new data and delete Garmin-sourced personal data within 30 days, subject to legal holds. Retention: By default, we keep Garmin-sourced personal data for 12 months to power trends and progress features, unless you request deletion earlier (see Section 11).

9) Data retention

• Account & chat content: kept while you maintain an account. If you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly de-identify within 30–90 days (backups may take additional time). • Diagnostics/logs: typically 30–180 days. • Garmin data: see Section 8 (default 12 months; purge within 30 days after disconnect). We may retain limited records to meet legal, security, or accounting requirements.

10) Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS in transit, encryption at rest, access controls (least-privilege/role-based), key management, audit logging, backups, and routine vulnerability management. No method is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep your device updated.

11) Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. • Disconnect Garmin in Settings to stop data flow; we purge Garmin-sourced data within 30 days. • Manage email preferences via unsubscribe links. • Request data or deletion: email privacy@hololife.ai with your request. We may verify your identity before acting. California (CCPA/CPRA) residents also have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt-out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not engage in such sharing).

12) Children

The Services are not intended for individuals under 16 (or the age required by your local law). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

13) Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies/SDKs for authentication, session management, analytics, and performance. You can control cookies via device/browser settings; some features may not work without them.

14) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted in-app or on our website with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
